[DSL Sucks]

Good... But Ignorantly Incorrect

Good Flash... nice animation but sound BLEW! If you can't afford a better mic then just use captions.

However, and I know I am not critiquing (spelling?) your Flash, DSL sucks FOR YOU. For me, in my area (South Nashville, TN) DSL runs as fast and sometimes faster than Cable. It is not in the least slow, on Kazaa I always have a 100kb/sec + download speed.

Not as Good as Number One

A Couple Comments

- Definitely work on animation. Work on shading, facial deatures (detailed textures, etc.)

- Clean up your side images. Everything has been very pixelated and - sorry - ugly. Even if you cut to a full-screen image with voice-over narration, you should clean those up.

- Find more video clips.

- Introduce new announcers and do character interviews.

- Make it longer.

Other than that it is a nice little animation. Keep it up.

A Few Suggestions...

Seeing real-life images and video imported into Flash and edited there is a nice switch from the standard vector-based animation. I liked this Portal submission but I have a few suggestions to get yourself on the top 50.

- Take more time building the models. Include backgrounds (even if you animate them in Flash).

- Include a soundtrack. Your sound effects were nicely timed and fit perfectly so that was great.

- Include a story line and several scenes. I think it would be very worth it to do so. Include scene transitions and if you can, even speaking parts with the characters (even if it is in speech bubbles...)

But overall it was a nice little ClayMation. Keep it up.

Hmmm... Interesting

Animation sucks, sorry. Work on it ALOT and make the video clips larger. Oh and if your didn't know that last clip is from the movie "Meet Joe Black" and that is Bradd Pitt's stuntman getting nailed. So use -real- clips like the first one which was great.

The concept is good and quite original but needs improvement. I can see this being a tight series though.

Has Potential...

You obviouslt have animation skills and working knowledge of Flash. It was better than I could do but here are a few suggestions :

1. NEEDS better sound effects. Lots of sites are out there to supply you with any and all tid-bits that will make your Flash sound ALOT better.

2. Work a little harder on animation. Smoother lines and less out-of-proportion facial features.

3. Longer...

Keep working and you'll be good.

One of the Best

Personally, this is one of my favorite Portal submissions yet. Most Flash that is magnificent is a 2000 hour animation experience. But your animation is simple yet profound. I couldn't do nearly as good of a job even with sticks. Also, I love the weapons and LOTR characters... great stuff.

Excellent, EXCELLENT Flash. Soundtrack was perfect, ending was fucking hilarious. Damn you are on your way to good things. Keep it up.

Your Flash was quite funny. For a school project you did fine. Submit some serious Flash you can obviously do it.

Hey thanks for the welcome pal! Glad you thought it was funny. My teacher liked it, I'm pretty sure I got an A on it. Believe me I have other Flashes in the works... But I have the same problems Tolkien had... I start projects... lose interest... and never finish... That's why it took him about 16 years to write Lord of the Rings. Oh well.
